Good News Bad News!
My son the bike expert came by tonight to check out my bike... Turns out my tires were a little under-inflated - they were suppose to be at 50 and they were at 18. So it's no wonder I had a hard time riding it - you put a FAT person on a bike with flat tires and your bound to get a workout! He aired up my tires, adjusted my seat - which really helped my big fat hiney! and attempted to adjust the brake - which he says is dragging on the front tire. Turns out the front tire is crooked (of course not the term he used) - so I guess we'll be taking a trip back to the store to get a new bike. This time I think I'll make sure the tires have enough air though!

No stars tonight - but I am down another
1.6 pounds for a total of 7.8 pounds lost. Still having issues with eating all my points. My goal for this week is to TRACK my points and EAT all my points - and maybe even go into my reserve...
I also got a bike. I rode for a little while on Sunday - my legs were soar afterward - but not too bad. Then I decided to ride it again yesterday - Bob had advised against it - but I wasn't hurting so, I thought no big deal. I rode around the block - it's a large block - and I thought I was going to die before I got home. My legs were hurting so bad - I had to keep moving or they would buckle under me. Bob suggested I sit in a bathtub of COLD water - which I did - that did relieve the pain. I plan to ride again tomorrow - but not on any of the hills or inclines - just on the flat road in front of the house.
We'll see how that goes.

I see STARS!
I actually got a 5 pound star tonight at Weight Watchers. I have lost 6.2 pounds since I started WW. Tonight was my 4th meeting. According to my scale I have lost 10.5 pounds since I started on March 21st. I talked to one of the ladies that celebrated 25 pounds tonight - I asked her if she actually eats all of her points. She said yes, and that she suggests I let myself eat all my points per day and even go into my reserve - that otherwise my body could be holding on to calories because it's afraid it won't get more. I think she is actually right - the week I did the best was the week I went into my reserve points. I'm going to try harder to eat at least my points everyday.
I'm less than 4 pounds from my 5% goal. I also lost 1 point because of my weight loss.
So, I'm off to keep earning stars!

Choices
Choices by Kathy
This is a lift of a layout of the same name by Debie T from Two Peas in a Bucket. She is one of my favorite scrappers at Two Peas. When I saw this layout I loved it - and then when I read the journaling about looking forward to choices she will be able to make when purchasing clothes, when she looses weight - I knew this was what I needed to do with this Before picture I had Niko take.
I don't normally lift the title or the theme of the page - but on this one I just couldn't resist.

Weight Loss Wooh Hoo!
As of this AM on my scale - I have lost a total of 11 pounds from my original starting weight on March 21. Wooh Hoo! I don't think it's noticable - but my clothes do fit better - and I do feel better! Thanks for sharing my joy!

Weight Loss update!
I had Weight Watchers tonight. I lost 3.4 pounds this week for a total of 4.4. You get a star if you loose 5. So, no star for me tonight. I should get one next week though. According to my scale I have actually lost a total of 9.5 pounds. It will probably take at least 9 more before anyone will notice.

It's Spring in Texas!
This is one of my favorite times of year. The bluebonnets and other wild flowers are abundant this year. It is so tempting to stop at every patch and take pictures - but I have to use some restraint!

Old habits die hard!
My old "diet" mindset had definitely set in yesterday. On any other "diet" I would have to starve myself the rest of the week to make up for eating almost 1000 calories at one meal - but I really only used 10 of my extra points. I still have 25extra points to use - and my activity points - so it's not like I'm bankrupt.
Also, today I started over with my 24 points for the day. I'm really liking this - but it is definitely not what I'm use to! YEAH!

Now I really did it!
Bob and I went out tonight - how bad could a buritto bowl at Chipolte's be! 949 callories, 39 grams of fat and 5 grams of Fiber - ONLY 20 POINT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I also ate 12 chips - according to my WW points they were suppose to be 1 point for 12. I only ate 12. Turns out they are actually 490 calories, 19 grams of fat, and 5 grams of fiber. So I ate about 1/3 of the bag. So that means ONLY 4 PONTS!
So, for supper I ate my whole daily allowence of points. Guess I won't have to worry about eating too little today.
Guess I'll check this kind of stuff next time before I go out!

Kinda Bummed!
I just got home from Weight Watchers. I've done really well all week - at least I thought I had. I have had a hard time eating all of my points - and there have been days I have not. I have not used any of my extra points or activity points. So... I should have lost a lot, RIGHT?
Wrong!
According to WW I lost 1 pound this week!
Last week at WW I was 2 pounds lighter than I had been at home that AM - today I'm the same as I was this AM. So where did those 2 pounds go???????????
I'm confused. I guess I should just stick to the WW scale and not weight at home. Not sure I can give that up though!
My new week starts now - I need to go eat!
