16 Weeks - 37 Years!
Today is my 37th wedding anniversary. Hard to belive it's been that long - yet even harder to remember not being married. We've definately had our ups and downs - fortunately the downs seem to be behind us. I guess we're getting too old to not get along. God has played a significant roll in keeping us together. I'm hoping for another 37 years!!!!!!

Scrap Our Stash Christmas in July Blog Hop

When we decided to do a Christmas in July theme for the Blog Hop I had no idea what I would do. Then Saturday night, it came to me. I did the following layout - Christmas in July? It is actually pictures of Christmas decorations that are still out in my house. It has hidden journaling on the tag to the left that reads:
I love to decorate for Christmas - to get out the trees and all the many boxes of ornaments and decorations. I look forward to the weekend after Thanksgiving to decorate.
The problem is - I hate to un-decorate and put all the decorations away. This year I did manage to get the decorations off the trees by the end of January - the trees put away by the end of February - and got most of the other decorations at least taken down within the last few months.
These are just a few of the decorations that are still out - even though it’s July.
Now the quandary is - do we put them away now - or just leave them out until Christmas - after all it’s only 5 months away!
I couldn’t resist the wall hanging with this quote, I think it’s the perfect justification for leaving them out all year round!
